1. Acceptance of Terms
Use of Akii means you accept these Terms. If you reject them, stop using the service.
2. Service Description
Akii is a photo-sharing service centered on real captures.
All photos must be taken with Akii's camera.
Imported, edited, filtered, or AI-generated images are not allowed.
Akii includes:
- A shared reverse-chronological feed.
- Likes without counts.
- Comments as plain text.
- Messaging between users.
- A reciprocity-based relationship model: Gente and Olvidados.
- Content delivery without interest-based algorithmic curation.
3. Eligibility
Minimum age: 18 or the legal minimum in your jurisdiction.
Users previously removed for violations may not return.
Users legally barred from online services may not participate.
4. User Responsibilities
Provide accurate registration data.
Do not impersonate any person or entity.
Do not violate any law.
Do not interfere with the operation of Akii, access systems without authorization, automate usage without permission, or extract data.
Do not upload content you do not have rights to.
Do not upload nudity.
Do not use Akii for harassment, threats, or abusive behavior.
Do not use the service for commercial promotion unless explicitly permitted.
5. Content Behavior and Storage
You retain ownership of your content.
You grant Akii LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and distribute your content for service operation.
When you delete a photo, the image file is removed from storage.
The associated database record may remain for functional integrity of comments, likes, or messages.
Removed photos may appear as unavailable inside historical conversations or threads.
The license ends when the content is fully removed from Akii systems and backups.
6. Gente and Olvidados
A reciprocal interaction creates a Gente entry.
Marking someone as Olvidado removes them from your visible social map.
This system produces no follower counts, rankings, or public metrics.
7. Messaging
Messages must comply with these Terms.
Harassment, threats, or predatory behavior lead to account removal.
Akii may restrict messaging features on accounts suspected of abuse.
8. Prohibited Uses
Do not bypass access controls.
Do not sell, license, or transfer your account.
Do not scrape or harvest data.
Do not reverse engineer any part of Akii.
Do not upload another person's private information without permission.
Screenshots cannot be prevented; users are responsible for the content they share.
9. Intellectual Property
Akii trademarks, interface design, branding, and software belong to Akii LLC.
You may not reproduce or use Akii assets without written permission.
10. Moderation and Account Enforcement
Akii may remove content or disable accounts if:
- These Terms are violated.
- Laws require removal.
- Safety or security concerns arise.
- Intellectual property is infringed.
Akii may hide comments, limit interactions, or restrict messaging on any account.
Akii may alter or discontinue any service component at any time.
11. Privacy
Use of Akii requires acceptance of the Privacy Policy.
Akii does not process or store location metadata at this time.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is."
Akii does not guarantee uptime, error-free operation, or complete security.
Akii is not responsible for user content or user behavior.
Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law and excludes indirect or consequential damages.
13. Dispute Resolution
Consumers: governed by the laws of your country of residence.
All other users: governed by Puerto Rico law.
Jurisdiction: courts of Puerto Rico unless required otherwise by law.
14. Changes to Terms
Akii may update these Terms. Continued use after updates means acceptance.
If you reject updates, stop using Akii and delete your account.
15. Feedback
Feedback may be used by Akii without obligation of compensation.
